Navigating the Blog

Due to the nature of WordPress I only have so much control over my blog with my limited skills and minimal budget (i.e. the “use things that are free” budget). This means that most of Not to Clear the Air is going to be one large stream of posts, along which you are free to scroll along and pick from the titles if they interest you. I am, however, going to start using the Categories feature, which should hopefully make my blog a little more user-friendly.

The categories will be as follows:

Things that are weird: this category is pretty self-explanatory. If you’re a follower of my blog, you know already that I like to write about things that I think are weird. All of these posts should be able to be found through this category.

Words and Language: Other favorite topics of mine are Linguistics and Foreign Language. This can range from poetry to strange-sounding words.

Reflections and Nostalgia: This may end up as kind of a catch-all category, but hopefully it won’t get too cluttered.

Recommendations: From time to time I need to take a break from making things up my usual, eloquent stylings to recommend a book or a song or a comic.

Challenges: This is a relatively new category, but one I hope you readers will help me to continue.

Naturwissenschaften!: Or “science.” I am not a scientist but I love science-y stuff. So that’ll all be here.

Out in the World: These are all the travel-based things. Places to visit, cool stuff to see.

History ShmistoryAll posts with a Historical background. Don’t worry, I’ll try to include some accuracy as well.

I hope these categories help you to enjoy the blog more. They will be subject to change as the blog evolves, but if they work well they are here to stay.
